In the first 11 months of this year, Fujian Province's meat exports increased by more than three times

In recent years, Fujian Province has accelerated the construction of characteristic modern agriculture, with obvious advantages in the scale, intelligence, and chain of meat processing. The added value of products continues to increase, and the export scale shows a high-speed growth trend. According to statistics from Fuzhou Customs, in the first 11 months of this year, Fujian Province exported 280 million yuan worth of meat and its offal (hereinafter referred to as meat), a year-on-year increase of 319.4%.

Russia is the largest export market for meat in Fujian Province, leading export growth. In the first 11 months of this year, Fujian Province exported 140 million yuan of meat to Russia, a year-on-year increase of 11.8 times, accounting for 51.5% of the total meat export value of Fujian Province during the same period. At the same time, Fujian Province actively explores emerging markets and exports 38.168 million yuan of meat to the United Arab Emirates, accounting for 13.6%, with no export data for the same period last year.

Poultry meat is the main variety of meat exports in Fujian Province. In the first 11 months of this year, exports amounted to 240 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 386.4%, accounting for 84.1% of the total value of meat exports in Fujian Province during the same period. In addition, the export of pork was 38.804 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 110.4%, accounting for 13.8%.
