Notice on Soliciting Opinions on the Review of the China Australia Free Trade Agreement
Since its implementation in 2015, the China Australia Free Trade Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the China Australia Free Trade Agreement) has effectively promoted the development of economic and trade relations between the two countries and achieved fruitful results. In July 2025, China and Australia signed a memorandum on the implementation and review of the China Australia Free Trade Agreement, deciding to initiate the overall review of the agreement.
In order to further understand the concerns and demands of various sectors of society towards the China Australia Free Trade Agreement and improve the quality and effectiveness of the agreement review process, we are now publicly soliciting opinions and suggestions, including but not limited to the implementation and impact of the agreement, as well as areas where the agreement can be further improved or expanded. Welcome all enterprises, institutions, industry associations, research institutions, etc. to provide written or electronic feedback on relevant opinions and suggestions to the World Trade Department of the Ministry of Commerce before February 28, 2026, and indicate the contact person and contact information.
