Yunnan coffee exports lead the country

In recent years, China's coffee industry has entered a golden period of development. Thanks to its natural geographical advantages and the added value brought about by the upgrading of the entire industry chain, Yunnan's export scale has accelerated its growth. According to statistics from Kunming Customs, Yunnan exported coffee and its products worth 840 million yuan in the first 11 months of this year, ranking first in the country.

Among them, Yunnan Baoshan small grain coffee has become a shining business card in the international coffee market with its unique flavor of "strong but not bitter, fragrant but not strong, and slightly fruity". A batch of small coffee beans weighing 19.2 tons will be sent to Malaysia after being inspected by Tengchong Customs under Kunming Customs in the factory area of Gaolaozhuang Agricultural and Sideline Products Development Co., Ltd. in Baoshan City.

This year, we have exported a total of 124 tons of coffee beans, covering multiple countries and regions such as Vietnam, Malaysia, and Singapore, "said Gao Jie, the head of the company." Quality is the core of winning the international market. Walking into the workshop of Yunnan Jinglan Rezuo Technology Co., Ltd. located in Longyang District, Baoshan City, the rich aroma of cold brewed coffee is enveloped in the slight roar of the machine, and the fully automatic canning equipment is accurately filling the coffee liquid into the low-temperature extraction tank, which is then freeze-dried to produce cold brewed powder.

In the first 11 months, Tengchong Customs supervised the export of coffee and its products with a value of 34.325 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 33.3%, and exported to 11 countries and regions including Singapore, Vietnam, Russia, and Indonesia; 4.4 tons of deep processed products such as freeze-dried coffee and instant coffee were exported, achieving a "zero breakthrough" in the export of coffee products.
