Beijing, December 23 (Xinhua) -- The spokesperson of the Ministry of Commerce stated on the 23rd that the United States has included all foreign produced unmanned aerial vehicle systems and their key components in the "untrusted supplier list" on the grounds of so-called "national security", and China firmly opposes this.

The spokesperson said in response to a question that in recent years, the US has repeatedly generalized the concept of national security and used national power to crack down on foreign companies, including Chinese companies, regardless of the normal commercial transactions and trade exchanges between Chinese and American companies, as well as the strong voices of the Chinese and American industries. This is a typical market distortion and unilateral bullying practice.

The spokesperson stated that China urges the US to stop its erroneous practices and immediately revoke relevant measures. If the US continues to act unilaterally, China will resolutely take necessary measures to firmly safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese enterprises.
