According to the statistics of Guangzhou Customs, in the first 11 months of this year, Guangzhou's import and export to countries jointly building the "the Belt and Road" reached 531.24 billion yuan, up 24% year on year. Countries jointly building the "the Belt and Road" have become an important trade partner of Guangzhou.

The production workshop of Guangzhou Gaojing Solar Energy Technology Co., Ltd. located in Huadu District, Guangzhou is bustling with workers packing the final components in an orderly manner. "We focus on the market demand for power supply in the countries jointly building the 'the Belt and Road' and research and develop new battery modules, which can maximize the conversion of light into electricity and reduce power generation losses," said Dong Xiaoting, director of the Operation Support Center of Guangzhou Gaojing Solar Energy Technology Co., Ltd.

In order to support the efficient and smooth export of "new three kinds" products such as photovoltaic products, Guangzhou Customs dynamically collected and solved the difficulties of enterprises in cross-border logistics, deepened the logistics integration reform of Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Bay Area such as "one port connection", and constantly strengthened the connectivity of coastal ports such as the the Pearl River Inland River Terminal and Nansha Port, which can be quickly cleared with only one declaration.

Guangzhou Feiao Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. is a high-tech enterprise mainly engaged in independent research, development and production of portable audio products. In recent years, the company has continued to expand emerging markets such as the "the Belt and Road" countries. In the first 11 months of this year, the company has made more than 40% orders to jointly build "the Belt and Road" countries.

In order to help enterprises accelerate the development of overseas markets, Guangzhou Customs actively launched a special action to promote cross-border trade facilitation based on the demands of enterprises, introduced support measures, and promoted the multi-channel cultivation of "specialized, refined, unique and new" enterprises through "customs+local government+industry associations" to become AEO enterprises, helping enterprises reduce costs and continuously expand their foreign trade "circle of friends".

Yang Fan, Deputy Director of the Statistics and Analysis Division of Guangzhou Customs, said that the trade ties between Guangzhou and the countries that jointly built the "the Belt and Road" have become deeper and closer, and the industrial ties have become closer. Since this year, Guangzhou has achieved growth in exports of textiles and imports of agricultural products to the countries that jointly built the "the Belt and Road". (Guan Yue/Text)
