Ministry of Commerce: Promote Anshi (Netherlands) to send personnel to China as soon as possible
Beijing, December 11 (Xinhua) -- The spokesperson of the Ministry of Commerce, He Yadong, said on the 11th that China has requested the Dutch Economic Community to negotiate and reach a consensus with China through the Dutch Embassy in China, and to promote the dispatch of personnel from Anse (Netherlands) to China as soon as possible.
The Ministry of Commerce held a regular press conference on the same day. A reporter asked: What is the progress of the negotiations between the Netherlands and China on Ansei Semiconductor at present? Can you provide a detailed explanation on how China determines which companies can import chips from Anshi Semiconductor?
He Yadong stated that in recent times, China has been actively promoting the prompt negotiation between Wentai Technology and Anshi (Netherlands) to resolve internal disputes within the company, in accordance with the consensus reached through consultations with the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs. Recently, Wentai Technology sent a letter to the independent directors and equity custodians of Anshi (Netherlands), inviting them to come to China for negotiations on corporate control and restoring supply chain stability and smoothness, demonstrating their sincerity in resolving the issue. The Chinese side has requested through the Dutch Embassy in China that the Dutch Economic Community consult with the Chinese side to reach a consensus and promote the dispatch of representatives from Anse (Netherlands) to China as soon as possible.
He Yadong emphasized that the Ansea Semiconductor issue was caused by the Dutch government's improper administrative intervention in corporate operations. The Dutch Ministry of Economy has the responsibility to take constructive and substantive measures, revoke administrative orders, promote the withdrawal of Ansea (Netherlands) executives from the corporate court, and create favorable conditions for internal negotiations within the company. China has taken practical measures to exempt compliant exports for civilian use, demonstrating a responsible attitude towards maintaining the security and stability of the global semiconductor supply chain. We hope that the Dutch side will take practical actions to promote the resolution of the Anshi Semiconductor issue.
