The Asian Development Bank has raised its forecast for China's economic growth rate in 2025 by 0.1 percentage points
The "2025 Asian Development Outlook" report released by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) on December 10 shows that, thanks to the resilience of China's exports and continued efforts in fiscal policy, the ADB has decided to raise its forecast for China's economic growth rate in 2025 by 0.1 percentage points.
The report also predicts that the growth rate of developing economies in the Asia Pacific region will reach 5.1% by 2025, higher than the 4.8% predicted in September.
Despite unprecedented uncertainty casting a shadow over the global trade environment, the stable economic fundamentals in the Asia Pacific region provide support for the region's strong export performance and robust growth, "said Park Chi shui, Chief Economist of the Asian Development Bank.
