Recently, Anhui Haoyuan Chemical Group Co., Ltd. successfully passed the AEO certification, becoming the 5th AEO enterprise in Fuyang City and the 131st AEO enterprise in Anhui Province.

AEO is the abbreviation for "Certified Operator" in English. The reporter learned from Hefei Customs that currently, there are 131 AEO advanced certification enterprises in the province, which account for less than 0.3% of the total number of registered import and export enterprises in the province, but contribute nearly a quarter of the import and export value, becoming the "ballast stone" to stabilize the basic situation of foreign trade.

As the highest credit rating enterprise of customs, AEO enterprises can enjoy a series of preferential management measures such as priority processing, reducing regulatory frequency, and optimizing services, effectively reducing the international trade costs of enterprises and enhancing international competitiveness.

In recent years, due to factors such as international trade barriers and geopolitics, the sales of the company's main export products have declined, and traditional cost and efficiency advantages are facing challenges in international competition, "said Jia Jian, Deputy General Manager of Anhui Haoyuan Chemical Group Co., Ltd. In the current era of profound changes in the global trade pattern, the traditional chemical industry often faces stricter scrutiny and supervision in the customs clearance process due to its product characteristics. Customs clearance efficiency and supply chain stability have become the core pain points that restrict enterprises from seizing the international market.

In Jia Jian's view, having a globally recognized "credit card" is particularly important for reshaping international competitiveness. After we expressed our needs to the customs, Fuyang Customs immediately established a certification cultivation special group to provide precise one-on-one guidance, "Jia Jian said.

Du Chao, Deputy Director of Fuyang Customs, introduced that the cultivation team conducted a comprehensive review and pre evaluation of the four dimensions and 62 standards of AEO certification, including internal control systems, financial status, compliance with laws and regulations, and trade security measures. They helped enterprises establish an effective list of improvement measures, overcome certification difficulties and bottlenecks one by one, and ultimately successfully passed AEO certification.

After becoming an AEO enterprise, the customs granted us convenient measures such as priority inspection and reducing inspection rates, which saved us a lot of clearance time and costs. It is expected to reduce the total export cost by about 1.6 million yuan per year. At the same time, this will greatly enhance the company's reputation in international trade. ”Jia Jian stated that nearly 20 international clients have gained confidence in cooperation due to this "golden signboard", laying a solid foundation for the implementation of subsequent orders.

The relevant person in charge of Hefei Customs stated that the customs is focusing on Anhui Province's characteristic industries, establishing a list of key cultivated enterprises, and promoting more high-quality enterprises to join the AEO "circle of friends" through innovative measures such as "on-site cultivation" and "one-on-one coordination", injecting stronger "credit momentum" into the high-quality development of foreign trade in the province.
