The "Import Expo Direct Train" model is an innovative business approved by the General Administration of Customs, which allows goods stored in designated bonded supervision sites to be directly transported to the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) for exhibition and trade in the form of "bonded display transactions". Shanghai Customs actively innovates the customs facilitation policies of the 8th CIIE, and the Shanghai Donghao Lansheng Public Bonded Warehouse located in Huangpu District is piloting this business, taking the first "through train".
Shu Yang, Deputy Director of the Inspection Department of Shanghai Customs, introduced that the speed from Donghao Lansheng Bonded Warehouse to the CIIE venue has been greatly improved, with the fastest taking only 35 minutes, while the original detour required at least half a day to a day; The efficiency of circulation has also been significantly improved, with customs simplifying procedures by more than 50% through optimizing regulatory processes.
