According to Xiamen Customs statistics, the export of wires and cables in Fujian Province reached 10.693 billion yuan in the first three quarters, a year-on-year increase of 86.99%, demonstrating strong competitiveness in the global market as "Made in Fujian".
According to officials from Xiamen Customs, the diversification of market layout is an important support for growth. Fujian's wire and cable are currently exported to 180 countries and regions worldwide, forming a pattern of coordinated development between traditional and emerging markets. Among them, North America and East Asia have grown particularly rapidly, becoming the main growth drivers. The export value in the first three quarters was 4.621 billion yuan and 2.091 billion yuan respectively, with year-on-year growth of 179.30% and 172.84% respectively; Emerging markets such as Latin America have performed well, with exports reaching 1.008 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 35.24%.
Behind the high export growth is more of a dual support of industrial upgrading and precise market integration. With the rapid expansion of global AI infrastructure and new energy industries, Fujian enterprises are seizing opportunities and promoting continuous optimization of product structure. From a classification perspective, jointed cables are the main export products, with a total export value of 8.07 billion yuan in the first three quarters, a year-on-year increase of 139.18%, accounting for 75.47% of the total export value of wires and cables in Fujian Province.
