EU makes preliminary anti-dumping ruling on phosphoric acid in China

On November 18, 2025, the European Commission issued a notice making an initial anti-dumping ruling on phosphorus acid originating in China, and preliminarily determined that the temporary anti-dumping duty on Chinese producers/exporters was 122.8%. The EU CN (Combined Nomenclature) code for the product in question is ex2811 19 80 (TARIC code 2811 19 80 60). The dumping investigation period of this case is from January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024, and the injury investigation period is from January 1, 2021 to the end of the dumping investigation period. The announcement shall take effect from the day after its publication.

Stakeholders should submit a hearing application within 5 natural days from the day after the announcement is released, and provide case review opinions within 15 natural days.

On March 19, 2025, the European Commission launched an anti-dumping investigation into phosphorous acid originating in China.
