Recently, workers in the chestnut processing workshop of Dandong Fuwo Economic and Trade Co., Ltd. are intensifying the screening, cleaning, and packaging of a batch of exported fresh chestnuts. After passing the inspection by the Dalian Customs under the jurisdiction of the Dadong Port Customs, this batch of 26 tons of fresh chestnuts from Dandong was immediately loaded and shipped, and then exported by sea through the Dalian Dayaowan Port.

This year's sales situation is particularly good, with overseas orders increasing by nearly 20% compared to last year, which cannot be separated from the guidance and assistance of customs. During the planting period this year, customs plant quarantine experts have visited us multiple times to guide us in scientifically carrying out cultivation and optimizing the quality control system, ensuring the export quality of our products, "said Ren Yuwei, the person in charge of Dandong Fuwo Economic and Trade Co., Ltd.

To solve the problem of difficult preservation and urgent customs clearance for fresh chestnut exports, Dadonggang Customs has applied a "paperless" online declaration and document review platform, and simultaneously implemented the "instant receipt, limited time review" operation mode, reducing the operation time by more than 50%; Establish a chestnut export service team, implement the "5+2" and "7 × 24-hour" inspection work system, achieve "no appointment" inspection on the same day, and shorten the average inspection time to 30 minutes.

According to statistics, from January to November this year, Dadong Port Customs has supervised the export of 6854.9 tons of fresh chestnuts, with a value of 7.621 million US dollars, an increase of 28.5% and 11.4% year-on-year. (Li Zheng, Cao Xinxin/text)
