Qingdao 'Sample Jietong' delivers 68000 accurate samples in two years
Recently, the seaweed fertilizer under the supervision of Qingdao Dagang Customs, which is under the jurisdiction of Qingdao Customs, was delivered to the Huanghe East Road testing point of Qingdao Customs Technical Center for testing through the "Sample Delivery" application, marking the first expansion of the "Sample Delivery" sample delivery mode to the field of fertilizers, minerals and other products in the critical area.
By using 'Sample Jietong' to deliver samples, the testing process can be carried out on the same day and delivered to the laboratory. This further reduces the sampling and testing time for our company's exported seaweed fertilizer by 50%. For enterprises, every minute of logistics speed improvement can effectively reduce the company's operating costs, "said Xu Fujun, manager of Qingdao Haida Biotechnology Group Co., Ltd. In the early stage, the enterprise participated in the "Customs Enterprise Face to Face" activity of Qingdao Customs and proposed to include its main product seaweed fertilizer in the scope of "Sample Jietong" transmission. With the overall coordination of various departments of the customs, the problem of seaweed fertilizer clearance efficiency was solved.
In December 2023, the "Sample Delivery" program was launched and piloted at Qingdao Customs. The program relies on modern logistics to achieve efficient sample delivery, and can handle on-site customs shipping orders, sample sealing, customs sealing, laboratory sample reception, and other services in a "one-stop" manner, achieving the full process of sample delivery that is "interconnected, secure, visible, efficient, and transparent".
The launch of "Sample Jietong" has optimized and upgraded the sample inspection process, and achieved online and transparent sample inspection business by building an information interconnection platform. Customs has clearly defined responsibilities, clear nodes, and smooth connections throughout the entire process of sampling, sending samples, and testing, effectively improving the standardization, refinement, and digitization level of the entire chain management of sample transportation. Compared with the past where grassroots customs sent inspection vehicles and specialized personnel for transportation, it has saved inspection costs and increased efficiency and reduced the burden on grassroots customs. The laboratory can also arrange testing tasks in advance based on the order information of "Sample Jietong", coordinate personnel, equipment and other testing resources, achieve seamless connection between customs on-site and laboratory testing work, and make laboratory management more efficient and accurate.
Since the launch of the "Sample Jietong" transmission program two years ago, Qingdao Customs has used "Sample Jietong" to accurately deliver 19000 tickets and 68000 pieces of samples, effectively solving the problems of multiple sample delivery points and large sample volumes at the grassroots level, and reducing the overall inspection time of the customs area by 22.4%. At present, the program has been promoted and put into operation in customs directly under Jinan, Yinchuan, Fuzhou, Xiamen, etc. Now, the sample transmission scope of "Sample Jietong" has been further expanded, allowing more enterprises to enjoy benefits.
