Fujian forklift exports surged 20.2% in the first three quarters

In recent years, the forklift industry in Fujian has developed rapidly and has become an important force in China's forklift manufacturing industry, especially in terms of export scale and technological innovation. According to Xiamen Customs statistics, forklift exports in Fujian Province reached 2.52 billion yuan in the first three quarters, a year-on-year increase of 20.2%, continuing to maintain a high-speed growth trend. Among them, the export of electric forklifts was 1.5 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 35.9%, accounting for 59.4% of the total export value of forklifts in Fujian Province during the same period, and was the main driving force for export growth.
According to officials from Xiamen Customs, the layout of Fujian's forklift export market continues to optimize. In the first three quarters, Fujian exported forklifts to the EU market worth 650 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 43.4%, accounting for 26.0% of Fujian's total forklift export value during the same period. Among them, Germany performed the most outstandingly, with exports of 490 million yuan in the first three quarters, a year-on-year increase of 53.0%. At the same time, Fujian's exports to emerging markets such as Africa and Latin America are quite impressive, with year-on-year growth of 49.6% and 32.6% respectively in the first three quarters.
