The number of inbound and outbound passengers at Datong Port has reached a new high
With the popularity of cultural IPs such as the game "Black Myth: Wukong" and the movie "Little Monsters on Langlang Mountain", Shanxi Datong, which has repeatedly appeared as a filming location, has also unlocked the "traffic password" for cross-border tourism.
This year, Datong Airport has opened multiple direct flights to Hong Kong, Thailand, Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, Seoul, South Korea, Moscow, Russia, and other destinations, presenting overall characteristics such as "multiple flights, dense routes, and high occupancy rates".
To ensure efficient customs clearance for inbound and outbound passengers, Datong Customs comprehensively utilizes intelligent supervision models such as "opportunistic supervision", "seamless customs clearance", and "smart travel inspection", deepens cooperation with various units at the port and airlines, improves regulatory service efficiency, and enhances customs clearance efficiency. At the same time, we will implement health and quarantine measures at the Luoxi Port, strictly prevent the introduction and spread of infectious diseases, strengthen the prevention and control of the invasion of foreign harmful organisms, and strictly guard the security of the country's borders.
As of November 27th this year, Datong Customs supervised 377 inbound and outbound flights and 52309 inbound and outbound personnel. The annual number of inbound and outbound passengers at Datong Airport has exceeded 50000 for the first time, setting a new record for the highest number of inbound and outbound passengers since the port was first opened in 2013. Yao Hong, Deputy Director of Datong Customs, said that the radiation and driving effect of the port continues to be released, and Datong's rich historical and cultural heritage and abundant tourism resources are attracting more and more tourists.
Datong Customs will continue to support the expansion and optimization of international air routes at Datong Air Port, and assist Datong City in further deepening foreign economic and trade cooperation and cultural exchanges through the opening of air routes. (Zhang Wei/Text)
