The Ministry of Commerce introduces the latest developments in China Europe economic and trade relations

On the afternoon of November 20th, the Ministry of Commerce held a regular press conference. According to media inquiries, high-level delegations from Germany and Spain recently visited Beijing and met with China to discuss issues such as trade and investment. May I ask the Ministry of Commerce if there has been any progress on possible economic, trade, and investment agreements between China and Europe, or on issues such as tariffs on electric vehicles?

Regarding this, He Yongqian, spokesperson for the Ministry of Commerce, stated that China and Europe are important economic and trade partners. China is willing to work with Europe to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of both sides, maintain close communication at all levels, eliminate economic and trade differences, deepen mutually beneficial cooperation, and promote the improvement and development of China Europe economic and trade relations.
