Dalian Customs Helps Record High Volume of Liquefied Natural Gas Transit Business
Recently, under the supervision of Beiliang Port Customs under Dalian Customs, a batch of 60000 tons of liquefied natural gas (LNG) originating from the United States completed bonded warehousing and reloading operations in Dalian, and then departed from the Dalian LNG Company terminal of the national pipeline network on board the "SOLARIS" ship, exporting to Thailand in an international transit mode.
Under the guidance of customs, the enterprise completed the entire process from import declaration to customs clearance and release in just 3 working days. Beiliang Port Customs has innovated its inspection and supervision mode, reducing the transit clearance time to one working day, realizing the "loading upon arrival" of ships, and breaking through business bottlenecks through services such as "pre audit".
According to statistics, Dalian Port has completed 247000 tons of bonded LNG re loading and transit business this year, exceeding the total amount of previous years; Among them, 129000 tons of bonded LNG originating from the United States were transshipped, achieving a new breakthrough. Dalian Free Trade Zone is accelerating the construction of a regional international energy transit hub to assist in the construction of the Northeast Asia International Shipping Center.
