Answer: The Chinese side has taken note of the relevant reports. The tools mentioned in the report are typical protectionist and unilateral measures, which not only do not help solve problems, but also backfire and disrupt China Europe trade and global supply chain stability. The EU has also been a victim of such tools, do not do to others what you do not want done to yourself. As an important member of the World Trade Organization, the EU has always touted itself as a defender of multilateralism. If it fails to lead by example and instead takes the lead in violating WTO rules, it will seriously undermine the rules based multilateral trading system.

At present, China and Europe are continuing to engage in dialogue under the trade and investment consultation mechanism to explore solutions to each other's concerns. If the European side engages in dialogue and consultations with China while also increasing its strength towards China, it will seriously undermine mutual trust, interfere with the overall process of consultations, and affect the overall economic and trade cooperation between China and Europe.
