Baoding Customs helps Laiyuan chicken sell well in the Central Asian market
On October 8th, 39 tons of frozen chicken breast meat were loaded from the cold storage of Jiuxing Agriculture and Animal Husbandry (Laiyuan) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Jiuxing Agriculture and Animal Husbandry") and sent to Uzbekistan via cold chain logistics. This is the first batch of export orders delivered by the company in October.
Jiuxing Agriculture and Animal Husbandry is a technology-based agricultural and animal husbandry enterprise in Laiyuan County, Baoding, which integrates the cultivation of broiler chickens, hatching of chicks, slaughtering and processing. Its chicken products were mainly supplied to the Beijing Tianjin Hebei market in the past. Since the beginning of this year, the company has gone to countries and regions such as the United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Uzbekistan, etc. to explore markets, and has also strengthened its foreign trade team to reserve human resources for the rapid expansion of its export business.
After learning about the company's need to expand into the international market, Baoding Customs dispatched a team to interpret the international market access rules and meat food standards, guiding the company to improve its quality and safety management and traceability system. At the same time, customs supervision will be integrated into the entire industry chain, guiding large-scale breeding farms within the county to optimize the breeding environment and strengthen epidemic prevention management in accordance with international standards.
Under the guidance of customs, the enterprise has established a full process traceability system and food safety management system in key links such as breeding, slaughtering, freezing, and testing. At present, Jiuxing Agriculture and Animal Husbandry has 218 standardized chicken houses registered with customs for exporting poultry meat raw materials. In September of this year, 489 tons of chicken meat were exported, an increase of nearly 10 times compared to the previous month. During the National Day holiday, the company's automated production line with an annual slaughter capacity of 150 million units was operating at full capacity, striving to meet overseas orders.
"The export order in October was 1000 tons, which was twice as much as that in September." Sun Bo, the head of the International Business Department, said happily, "In May this year, the company obtained the admission qualification of Uzbekistan, and after several months of operation, the products were highly recognized in the local market. Next, we will continue to dig into the Central Asian market, actively expand the market of the 'the Belt and Road', and let more Taihang Mountain broiler products be served on the table of foreign consumers."
From standardized chicken coops deep in the Taihang Mountains, to automated production lines in the segmentation workshop, and to cold chain trucks sent overseas, Jiuxing Agriculture and Animal Husbandry has connected a complete broiler industry chain. 19000 farmers rely on raising chickens, with an average annual income increase of over 30000 yuan per household.
