Haiyang, Shandong: Old craftsmanship 'kneaded' into new market
Recently, Yantai Yaqi Food Co., Ltd. declared the export of a batch of quick-frozen raw Cong you bing through the "single window" of international trade to Haiyang Customs under Qingdao Customs. After being supervised and released by the customs, 600 cases of Cong you bing were loaded and shipped to overseas markets. Haiyang Cong you bing, a Jiaodong home-made pasta, was exported for the first time.
Haiyang, Shandong is located on the Jiaodong Peninsula and has a long history of noodle culture. Among them, Haiyang Cong you bing is famous for its clear layers, rich onion flavor, crisp outside and tender inside.
"Our products are mainly Cong you bing, big cake with raw embryo, etc. From dough mixing, skin rolling to layering, we knead old handicrafts and pass on hometown flavor." Zang Zhilong, manager of Yantai Yaqi Food Co., Ltd., said that while inheriting old handicrafts, the company has always wanted to expand overseas sales, so that China's old flavor can go abroad and go to the world.
However, exporting noodles is not an easy task. Export food production enterprises need to obtain customs registration qualifications, and their products must also comply with the regulatory standards of the importing country (region). The labeling, testing items, storage and transportation conditions are interrelated, and the enterprise was once at a loss.
After learning about the export intention of the enterprise, Haiyang Customs established a special assistance team, implemented the "one enterprise, one policy" policy, targeted the promotion of export food policies and regulations, interpreted the entry requirements and limit standards of the importing country for pastry products one by one, and helped the enterprise complete the registration of export food production enterprises. From raw material procurement and processing control to product inspection, warehousing and transportation, customs provides "full chain" guidance to help enterprises ensure quality and safety.
In the export customs clearance process, Haiyang Customs provides pre declaration guidance to understand the production plan and export arrangements of the enterprise in advance, and adopts convenient measures such as advance declaration and appointment clearance to ensure that customers can seize the opportunity to go abroad.
"Traditional pastries such as Cong you bing have a strong hometown flavor, and overseas market demand is booming." Wang Kexia, head of the supervision section of Haiyang Customs, said that the customs, based on the actual development of enterprises under its jurisdiction, put supervision first and services first, so that Haiyang flavor can be served to consumers outside Shanghai as soon as possible.
According to statistics, in the first nine months of this year, Haiyang Customs exported 45.23 tons of pastry food from its jurisdiction. (Shi Xin/Text)
