On October 7th, under the supervision of Nansha Customs under Guangzhou Customs, 4562 domestically produced cars slowly departed from Nansha Automobile Port in Guangzhou on the "Grand Aurora" roll on/roll off ship, heading towards Mexico.

Guangzhou Nansha Automobile Port has the largest cluster of car roll on/roll off terminals in South China, with a total of 7 dedicated berths for roll on/roll off cars of over 10000 tons. Currently, a total of 14 foreign trade car export routes have been opened.

In recent years, the automobile exports from Nansha Port in Guangzhou have maintained a strong growth trend, and the export categories have further expanded. Our automobile export business is steady and making progress. In addition to passenger cars, the export momentum of construction vehicles is gradually increasing. Since the beginning of this year, we have exported new energy construction vehicles such as cement mixers, excavators, and tractors to the Middle East region multiple times for local livelihood project construction. "Lu Chunrong, assistant general manager of Nansha Automobile Terminal, said that in the first nine months of this year, the export value of construction vehicles from Nansha Automobile Port in Guangzhou was about 2 billion yuan, an increase of more than six times year-on-year.

In response to the characteristics of concentrated export vehicles arriving at the port and diversified export vehicle types, Nansha Customs has comprehensively utilized the intelligent supervision system to monitor the saturation of storage in real time, dynamically guide terminal operating units to scientifically plan the layout of the yard, optimize the distribution of passenger and engineering vehicles to be exported, and improve the turnover efficiency of the site. At the same time, we will fully support the expansion of more direct roll on/roll off shipping routes at ports, and create a combination of "roll on/roll off shipping+sea rail intermodal transportation" and "roll on/roll off shipping+barge transit" transportation modes to promote multi port collaboration and efficient sea going through multimodal transportation.

We have communicated with the port in advance to understand the shipping plan, scientifically allocated regulatory manpower, provided 24-hour intelligent customs clearance services, implemented 365 day normal customs clearance, guided enterprises to apply the convenience measures of 'early declaration', and implemented 'ship to person arrival, immediate inspection' for docked roll on/roll off ships to ensure efficient and smooth customs clearance of every batch of exported cars. Xiao Yingfeng, head of the Automobile Supervision Department of Nansha Customs, introduced that in the first nine months of this year, Guangzhou Nansha Port exported more than 400000 cars, a year-on-year increase of about 36%.
