Seizing the opportunity of APEC cooperation, Jiangmen's LCD display module exports grow by 36.1%
In the first eight months of this year, Jiangmen City exported LCD flat panel display modules worth 1.53 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 36.1%. Among them, exports to other APEC economies amounted to 970 million yuan, an increase of 21.4%. With the continuous warming of economic and trade cooperation under the APEC framework, digital infrastructure interconnection has become a key direction for cooperation among economies. The strong demand for intelligent terminal devices such as vehicle control and industrial control has been released, bringing valuable opportunities for the new display industry in overseas Chinese hometowns to deeply cultivate the Asia Pacific market.
Entering the production workshop of Jiangmen Yidu Semiconductor Co., Ltd., the automated production line operates in an orderly manner. After multiple processes such as coating, surface mounting, module assembly, and full performance testing, batches of LCD flat panel displays and touch screens are gradually produced. After being supervised by Gaosha Customs under Jiangmen Customs, this batch of products will soon be sent to APEC markets such as South Korea and Hong Kong, China.
As a national high-tech enterprise, Yidu Semiconductor is anchored in the subdivision track of display devices, laying out research and development of display technologies for automotive, industrial control, and medical equipment in advance, and providing customized development and production services for different application scenarios in the Asia Pacific market. With the booming development of the new energy vehicle industry in the Asia Pacific region, the demand for LCD flat panel displays in intelligent cockpits and in car entertainment systems continues to grow, "said Mr. Wang, Vice President of the company." In the first eight months, the company exported LCD flat panel displays to the APEC market worth 290 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 2.3%. ”
In order to assist the new display industry in seizing the APEC cooperation window, Gaosha Customs has moved forward to serve the industry characteristics of LCD display products, such as fast iteration and tight order cycles. It has conducted pre classification and standardized declaration guidance for new products, and dedicated personnel to respond to export declaration difficulties of enterprises, reducing customs clearance returns and changes from the source and significantly improving declaration accuracy. At the same time, we will promote facilitation measures such as "advance declaration and appointment inspection", and implement measures to benefit enterprises such as reducing inspection frequency and prioritizing procedures for AEO advanced certification enterprises, compressing customs clearance time, and fully ensuring efficient customs clearance and timely delivery of orders in the APEC market.
Based on the diverse market access requirements of APEC, combined with the fast turnover of materials and the high amount of corner waste in LCD flat panel display processing trade, we have accurately promoted the regulatory policies for processing trade, guided enterprises to standardize the circulation of bonded materials and make good use of corner waste auction disposal measures, and assisted enterprises in preventing and controlling compliance risks throughout the entire process, ensuring the smooth landing of export orders. ”Liu Meihua, Deputy Director of the Three Departments of Gaosha Customs' Centralized Audit, said.
