Panjin Flavor "opens up a new path for cross-border e-commerce to go global
Recently, a batch of 11.9 tons of pickled radish was successfully cleared and released by Panjin Customs under the supervision of Dalian Customs. It was then shipped by sea from Dandong Port to Incheon, South Korea. This is the first time that agricultural products from Panjin City, Liaoning Province have been exported through the cross-border e-commerce "9710" model, marking the official opening of a new path for "Panjin Flavor" to go global in cross-border e-commerce.
In recent years, the competition in the domestic market has become increasingly fierce. We want to try to open up overseas markets, but we used to only do domestic wholesale business and lacked experience in export business. After the customs learned about our difficulties, they took the initiative to provide on-site services and provided full process guidance from filing to export declaration, "said Sun Hui, the person in charge of Liaoning Kaiwei Food Co., Ltd.
To assist in expanding the export of characteristic agricultural products in the jurisdiction, Panjin Customs has established an export special team and selected business backbones to conduct special research in enterprises, guiding enterprises to successfully complete cross-border e-commerce filing. At the same time, joint departments such as commerce and taxation held cross-border e-commerce policy lectures, tailored export plans for enterprises based on the rules of origin of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (RCEP), export tax rebates, overseas warehouse construction, and other contents, helping enterprises overcome the transformation barriers from offline to online and from domestic sales to exports. In addition, the customs also implement convenient measures such as priority inspection of cross-border e-commerce products upon application, helping enterprises reduce logistics costs, shorten customs clearance time, and stimulate the endogenous motivation of traditional agricultural product processing enterprises to transform into cross-border e-commerce.
The first cross-border e-commerce export of agricultural products in the jurisdiction is not only a milestone for the development of the enterprise itself, but also an active exploration to promote the deep integration of 'cross-border e-commerce+industrial belt' and help rural revitalization. Next, we will continue to optimize regulatory services and promote more characteristic agricultural products to go abroad through cross-border e-commerce channels, "said Zhang Ning, Deputy Director of Panjin Customs. In the first 8 months of 2026, Panjin Customs has guided 5 vegetable product enterprises to complete cross-border e-commerce filing. (Yang Mingxia/Text)
