China and Seychelles sign the Arrangement on Early Harvest of the Joint Development Economic Partnership Agreement

On September 10th, Wang Wentao, Minister of Commerce, and Laporte, Minister of Finance, Economic Planning, Trade and Investment of Seychelles, signed the "Early Harvest Arrangement between the Government of the People's Republic of China and the Government of the Republic of Seychelles on the Joint Development Economic Partnership Agreement" (hereinafter referred to as the "Early Harvest Arrangement"). International trade negotiator and Deputy Minister Li Chenggang met with Seychelles and exchanged the text of the Early Harvest Arrangement.

  According to the early harvest arrangement, China will implement zero tariffs on 100% taxable products from Serbia, and Serbia will further open its market to China.

Next, China will actively promote the signing of economic partnership agreements for common development with other African countries, implement zero tariff measures for 100% of taxable products of African countries that have established diplomatic relations, help African countries share China's super large market and vast development opportunities, and provide long-term, stable, and predictable institutional guarantees for China Africa trade and investment.
