Fuzhou mooncakes compete for 'fresh' exports to Vietnam
Recently, a batch of mooncakes with a value of 200000 yuan produced by Jiangxi Tengqu Food Co., Ltd., covering various flavors such as matcha, taro, lotus seed paste, chocolate, etc., were successfully cleared under the supervision of Fuzhou Customs under Nanchang Customs and shipped to Vietnam.
Mid Autumn Festival is not yet here, mooncakes come first. In the production workshop of the company, the automated production line is operating at full capacity - filling preparation, cake packaging filling, molding, baking and cooling, with each process closely connected and orderly.
Jiangxi Tengqu Food Co., Ltd. is a food enterprise mainly engaged in the research and production of Chinese pastries and snack foods. It has multiple brands such as "Qiansi" and "Zero Fun", and currently produces 40 tons of snack foods per day, with an annual output value exceeding 100 million yuan. When we first exported last year, we were not familiar with the process. This year, we have connected with overseas customers in advance, and the order volume has steadily increased, and the export pace has become more relaxed. Currently, less than a month before the Mid Autumn Festival, the demand for overseas procurement continues to rise, and we are stepping up our stocking and making every effort to seize the golden period of sales, "said Zeng Xingjie, the customs officer of the company.
The steady expansion of overseas markets by enterprises from their first export last year to this year is inseparable from the continuous optimization and upgrading of customs supervision service models. In order to assist local specialty foods in expanding their overseas presence, Fuzhou Customs actively connects with enterprise export plans and takes multiple measures to strengthen service guarantees. On the one hand, it collects and organizes food laws, regulations, and standard requirements in Vietnam and other ASEAN markets in advance, carries out special guidance on "policy guidance+standard interpretation", and guides enterprises to improve the full process quality and safety management system of raw material control, product technology, processing control, packaging labeling, etc., to build a solid food safety defense line from the source; On the other hand, laboratory testing will be conducted on the selected samples for inspection, with a focus on detecting safety items such as microorganisms. The quality of exported mooncakes will be strictly controlled to effectively ensure the safety of exported food. At the same time, actively pushing warning information on overseas technical trade measures to help enterprises effectively avoid related trade risks.
The export of mooncakes has maintained good continuity, and we have full confidence in expanding into the Southeast Asian market, "said Zeng Xingjie. The company is actively developing new mooncakes that cater to overseas tastes and will further expand the variety of exported products.
Next, Fuzhou Customs will continue to promote the "Customs Assistance Chain" service, providing more precise policy supply and efficient service models to help local specialty food enterprises stabilize and expand their overseas routes, allowing more "Ganfu Special Products" to spread overseas.
