Fujian pharmaceutical companies' overseas "circle fans" - Fujian's pharmaceutical materials and drug exports ranked first in the country from January to June

Taking advantage of the booming global health industry and relying on Fujian's unique traditional Chinese medicine resources and bio pharmaceutical industry cluster advantages, Fujian produced traditional Chinese medicine, traditional Chinese patent medicines and simple preparations, chemical raw materials, biological agents and other products continue to sail out to the sea, and deepen the global market. According to Xiamen Customs statistics, from January to June, the export of pharmaceutical materials and drugs in Fujian Province was 1.733 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 3.18%, and the export value remained the highest in the country.
According to officials from Xiamen Customs, private enterprises continue to shoulder the banner of being the "main force" in exports. From January to June, the export of pharmaceutical materials and drugs from private enterprises in Fujian Province was 788 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 12.44%, accounting for 45.45% of the total export value of pharmaceutical materials and drugs in Fujian Province during the same period. Foreign invested enterprises performed outstandingly, exporting 708 million yuan during the same period, accounting for 40.85% of the total export value of pharmaceutical materials and drugs in Fujian Province during the same period.
From the perspective of export market layout, Asia is the largest export market for pharmaceutical materials and drugs in Fujian Province. From January to June, Fujian Province exported 884 million yuan to other Asian countries (regions), a year-on-year increase of 3.50%, accounting for 51.01% of the total export value of pharmaceutical materials and drugs in Fujian Province during the same period.
