Entering Yongchun County, the largest wide skinned citrus production and export base in Fujian Province, known as the "Hometown of Chinese Citrus", and registering for export in the orchard of Yongchun Jufu Fruit Co., Ltd. in Fujian Province, one can see young and tender fruits the size of plums swaying gently in the wind on the branches, and a picture of abundant fruit branches slowly spreading out. In just over three months, a new export season will be ushered in.
Through the large-scale promotion of late maturing and storage resistant varieties, Yongchun Citrus has formed a new pattern of relay and staggered listing of multiple categories such as Lu Gan, Wo Gan, Honey Orange, and Orange Pomelo. The export season has been extended to nearly 8 months, reaching a record high in recent years. It is expected that the export market will be further developed in the new season! In response to the characteristics of short shelf life and perishability of fruits, Xiamen Customs has established a special working team to actively guide enterprises in scientifically formulating cold treatment plans for exported fruits. At the same time, a "green channel" for export customs clearance has been opened, fully utilizing the "batch inspection (quarantine)" model for exported agricultural and food products, combined with convenient service measures such as "cloud issuance" of plant quarantine certificates, to compress customs clearance and certificate issuance time by more than 20%, ensuring that Fujian fruits compete for "fresh" exports and spread their fragrance overseas.
