According to statistics, from January to July 2026, the trade volume between Dalian and other APEC economies reached RMB 191.6 billion, a year-on-year increase of 4.3%, accounting for 66.5% of Dalian's total foreign trade import and export value; Among them, imports amounted to 90.39 billion yuan, an increase of 13.3%, accounting for 74.9% of Dalian's total import value.

On August 13th, under the supervision of Dayaowan Customs under Dalian Customs, 861 tons of Vietnamese bananas declared for import by Dalian Yingqiao International Logistics Co., Ltd. were successfully cleared and released after passing inspection, and then sold to the Beijing Tianjin Hebei and Northeast regions.

Bananas from Southeast Asia have a short maturation cycle and a sweet taste, which are widely favored by the domestic market and are the star products with a large purchase volume for our customers. With the tariff reduction policy under the China ASEAN Free Trade Agreement, the tax rate for imported bananas from other APEC economies such as Vietnam and Cambodia has been reduced from 10% to 0%. In order to facilitate the import of agricultural products and other beneficial goods from other APEC economies, Dalian Customs continues to upgrade the "green customs clearance" guarantee mechanism for fresh agricultural products. Relying on a complete and mature cold chain warehousing and transportation system, it promotes centralized inspection in special zones, direct pickup at ports, and rapid release, achieving faster and more efficient customs clearance throughout the entire chain; Comprehensively promote the "China Customs Preferential Origin Service Platform" to provide professional guidance for import enterprises to proficiently master the rules of origin and standardize the declaration process, helping them significantly enhance their ability to enjoy benefits independently; Relying on characteristic service brands such as "Customs Clearance Easy", we respond to enterprise customs clearance questions in real time, quickly solve difficult problems, and continuously create an efficient, convenient, and beneficial business environment for enterprises. In the first seven months, Dalian imported agricultural products worth 12.65 billion yuan from other APEC economies, an increase of 32.7%. Among them, 8054.1 tons of fresh durian were imported, an increase of 86.9%.

On August 13th, under the guidance of Dalian Changxing Island Customs under Dalian Customs, staff of Wafangdian Guangyang Bearing Co., Ltd. processed the export certificate of origin for 620 sets of marine bearings through self-service printing. With this certificate, these bearings will be imported into Korea with zero tariff clearance.

In order to efficiently serve the export of mechanical and electrical products such as bearings and mechanical parts from Dalian to other APEC economies, Dalian Customs has established a special team for origin services, which will provide in-depth explanations to enterprises on tariff reduction arrangements, origin determination standards, and certificate application processes, and help them settle their "tariff accounts"; Provide compliance guidance to enterprises on high-frequency doubts such as raw material procurement, production and processing, and product classification, helping them accurately determine their origin qualifications and effectively avoid situations where they cannot enjoy benefits due to non-standard declaration; Adapting to the multi batch and short delivery needs of electromechanical enterprises, we will continue to promote convenient visa models such as intelligent verification of certificates of origin and self-service printing, significantly reducing the time limit for enterprises to apply for certificates and making product export customs clearance smoother.

Among them, ship exports amounted to 13.64 billion yuan, an increase of 63%; Lithium battery exports reached 3.13 billion yuan, an increase of 13%; The exports of industrial robots and photovoltaic products increased by 523.6% and 227.7% respectively.
