According to customs statistics, in the first seven months of 2026, China's total import and export value of goods trade was 30.13 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 17.3%. Among them, exports amounted to 17.44 trillion yuan, an increase of 14%; Imports amounted to 12.69 trillion yuan, an increase of 22%. In July, China's total import and export value of goods trade was 4.66 trillion yuan, an increase of 19.2%. Among them, exports amounted to 2.71 trillion yuan, an increase of 17.8%; Imports amounted to 1.95 trillion yuan, an increase of 21.2%.

From the perspective of trade methods, in the first seven months, China's general trade imports and exports amounted to 18.13 trillion yuan, an increase of 10.2%; The import and export of processing trade reached 5.81 trillion yuan, an increase of 26.3%; The import and export of bonded logistics reached 5.18 trillion yuan, an increase of 40.8%.

From the perspective of trading partners, in the first seven months, the total trade value between China and ASEAN was 5.14 trillion yuan, an increase of 20%; The total trade value between China and the European Union is 3.67 trillion yuan, an increase of 9.5%; The total trade value between China and the United States was 2.38 trillion yuan, a decrease of 1.6%. Over the same period, China's total imports and exports to countries jointly building the "the Belt and Road" totaled 15.36 trillion yuan, an increase of 15.5%.

From the perspective of foreign trade entities, in the first seven months, the import and export of private enterprises reached 1.716 trillion yuan, an increase of 17.2%; The import and export of foreign-invested enterprises reached 8.78 trillion yuan, an increase of 17.6%; The import and export of state-owned enterprises reached 4.14 trillion yuan, an increase of 17.3%.

From the perspective of key commodities, in terms of exports, in the first seven months, China's exports of mechanical and electrical products reached 11.12 trillion yuan, an increase of 21.2%; Labor secret products amounted to 2.37 trillion yuan, a decrease of 1.4%; Agricultural products amounted to 429.69 billion yuan, an increase of 3.7%. In terms of imports, in the first seven months, China imported 5.31 trillion yuan worth of mechanical and electrical products, an increase of 29.7%; Crude oil reached 283 million tons, a decrease of 13.2%; Agricultural products amounted to 904.1 billion yuan, an increase of 7.4%.
