In the first half of the year, the export of Xizang's specialty products increased by 18.7% year on year

In the first half of this year, the export value of Xizang's characteristic products was 33.3611 million yuan, up 18.7% year on year.

Lhasa Customs is working together to improve customs clearance efficiency, enhance enterprise development, and provide technical support, continuously activating the endogenous driving force of high-altitude characteristic industries and helping more high-altitude goods set sail overseas.  

Based on the demand for export timeliness of characteristic products, Lhasa Customs continues to open up a green channel for the entire export process of "territory+port", optimize the operational processes of transportation, inversion, and exit, and achieve the "immediate inspection and release" of characteristic products. At the same time, we will promote the direct export of characteristic products through air ports for the first time, and smooth the three-dimensional sea going channel of "air, rail, public transportation, and mail" linkage.  

Focusing on the development demands of foreign trade enterprises in the jurisdiction, Lhasa Customs has tailored credit cultivation plans for more than 10 key enterprises in the jurisdiction, selected business backbones to form an expert group for assistance, and provided full chain services such as policy promotion, compliance guidance, and application assistance, successfully cultivating the first AEO advanced certification enterprise in Shigatse City.

Tibetan sweet tea is a typical characteristic flavor drink in Xizang. It is not only a daily consumer product of local people, but also a popular cultural and tourism consumption category. In order to promote the standardization and quality development of Xizang featured products such as Tibetan sweet tea, Lhasa Customs took the lead in establishing three local food safety standards such as Tibetan sweet tea, filling the gaps in relevant local standards. Relying on the first in line responsibility system and online testing service platform, a total of 419 batches of characteristic product testing have been completed, with a 20% reduction in testing time compared to the same period last year.
