Over the past year, Yiwu market has declared a total of 1746 export orders for cosmetics, with a value of over 600 million yuan.

Makeup products are the main export category of Yiwu International Trade City, where makeup products from all over the country are gathered and consolidated for export. According to the traditional regulatory model, cosmetics need to undergo inspection at the location of the production enterprise before export. The reform of market procurement and export cosmetics procurement declaration and inspection originates from the institutional innovation of Yiwu International Trade Reform. It aims to address the inspection difficulties of cross production area beauty products consolidated for export, optimize the inspection mode on the premise of strictly adhering to quality and safety, and allow cosmetics products from other provinces and cities across the country to be uniformly declared and inspected in Yiwu, the procurement location. At the same time, the maximum value of a single customs declaration for purchasing cosmetics in the market has been increased from $1000 to $150000, and weight restrictions have been lifted to achieve "one declaration, one inspection, and quick release".

There are cosmetics produced in several places in a batch of goods. In the past, it used to take a week just to go to different places for origin inspection and prepare materials. Clarify the scope of production enterprises, export categories, and export countries (regions) through the "three lists", and screen out risk sources from the source; Relying on "one item, one code" to achieve digital traceability of the entire process of procurement, warehousing, inspection, and export; Supporting six control systems, conducting regular quality and safety risk monitoring, sampling and testing for heavy metals, microorganisms and other indicators, forming a complete regulatory chain of pre filing, in-process verification, and post traceability disposal.
