Since May 1, 2026, China has fully implemented zero tariff measures for African countries with diplomatic relations. Within three months, Shenzhen Customs has guaranteed a total of 475 million yuan in benefits for imported goods from 20 African countries with diplomatic relations, reducing tariffs for enterprises by 34.0115 million yuan. More and more high-quality African products are entering the Chinese market through the Shenzhen Customs Port.

The original 12% import tariff will be directly reduced to zero, and the import cost per container will be reduced by about 20000 to 25000 yuan.
