In July, Anhui's monthly import and export scale exceeded 120 billion yuan for the first time, and the monthly scale has exceeded 100 billion yuan for five consecutive months.

Automobile exports remain an important growth pole for Anhui's foreign trade. Data shows that in the first seven months of this year, the province exported mechanical and electrical products worth 403.13 billion yuan, an increase of 55%, driving the province's export growth by 39.2 percentage points. Among them, automobiles, as the "flagship product" for export, exported 1.227 million units, an increase of 124.4%; The value is 128.37 billion yuan, an increase of 119.4%, and the export volume and value rank first in the country.

The export of the "new three types" represented by electric vehicles, lithium batteries, and photovoltaic products is accelerating, and the proportion of independent brands is constantly increasing. In the first seven months of this year, Anhui exported "new three types" products worth 100.47 billion yuan, an increase of 132.9%, accounting for 19.6% of the province's total export value. During the same period, the export of independent brand products reached 265.34 billion yuan, an increase of 46.3%, accounting for 51.9% of the province's total export value and driving export growth by 23 percentage points.

From the perspective of imports, the import of primary products in Anhui has shown a positive trend, while mechanical and electrical products have maintained growth. In the first seven months, the import of primary products in the province reached 122.4 billion yuan, an increase of 38.3%, accounting for 53.8% of the total import value of the province and boosting the import growth rate by 18.9 percentage points. Among them, imported copper ore and concentrate amounted to 2.702 million tons, an increase of 6.6%; The value is 70.09 billion yuan, an increase of 40.1%. During the same period, the import of mechanical and electrical products reached 81.22 billion yuan, an increase of 18.5%. Among them, imported computer components amounted to 19.15 billion yuan, an increase of 127.1%; Imported tablet display modules amounted to 3.72 billion yuan, an increase of 7.2%.

The main trading partners maintain growth, and the market layout is becoming more diversified. The EU is our province's largest trading partner. In the first seven months of this year, Anhui's imports and exports to the EU amounted to 104.89 billion yuan, an increase of 42.2%; ASEAN is the second largest trading partner, with imports and exports reaching 94 billion yuan, an increase of 28%. During the same period, Anhui's import and export to countries jointly building the "the Belt and Road" reached 378.93 billion yuan, an increase of 28.9%, accounting for 51.3% of the province's total foreign trade value.

In addition, from the perspective of trading entities, private enterprises dominate in import and export, and the vitality of various business entities has significantly increased. In the first seven months, the import and export of private enterprises in Anhui Province reached 395.86 billion yuan, an increase of 41.1%, accounting for 53.6% of the province's total foreign trade value. The import and export of state-owned enterprises reached 192.67 billion yuan, an increase of 49.9%, accounting for 26.1%.
