A matsutake mushroom enters the world, a mushroom chain runs through Fushan Township

According to statistics from Kunming Customs, Yunnan exported 1857.1 tons of fresh and refrigerated edible mushrooms in the first seven months of this year, a year-on-year increase of 24.7%. A small wild mushroom not only smells fragrant both at home and abroad, but also becomes a "golden knot" for many mountainous counties in Yunnan to stimulate economic development and increase people's income.

In the processing workshop of Shangri La Bowen Food Co., Ltd., a batch of fresh matsutake harvested from high-altitude mountainous areas in Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, will be shipped to overseas markets after passing customs inspection.

The fresh and frozen matsutake mushrooms we export come from the Shangri La mountainous area with an average altitude of over 3500 meters, "said Guo Jinyun, General Manager of Shangri La Bowen Food Co., Ltd." The export of fresh wild mushrooms requires extremely high timeliness. If we go out to sea as soon as possible, we will have more freshness and market competitiveness. The convenience measures of the customs allow our products to be delivered to overseas customers as quickly as possible, and also give mushroom farmers in the deep mountains more confidence and stable income. "It is understood that every year during the mushroom season, a large number of local people enter the harvesting, logistics, processing and other links for employment, and the development of the matsutake industry drives more than 20000 local farmers, with an average annual income increase of 30000 to 50000 yuan.

In order to ensure the freshness of Yunnan's wild mushrooms to the world and help the county's characteristic industries grow and strengthen, Kunming Customs has deepened the "local+port" linkage supervision. In major wild mushroom producing areas such as Shangri La and Deqin, local customs have intervened in advance and provided advanced services, guiding enterprises to improve their quality control systems and promoting the use of convenient measures such as "cloud issuance" of export inspection and quarantine certificates; The port customs have opened a "green channel" for the export of fresh agricultural products, implemented convenient measures such as appointment inspection, closely linked local inspection with port supervision, and continuously improved the efficiency of export clearance.

Guo Jinyun introduced that with the expansion of the industry scale, the enterprise has now expanded into deep processed products such as frozen boletus edulis and dried morel mushrooms, extending the industrial chain and increasing the added value.

Wild mushrooms are connected to the "money bags" of ordinary people, and customs policies benefit enterprises to serve more high-quality plateau characteristic agricultural products to go out of the mountains and into the world, linking the rich industry chain and the prosperous border solidarity chain.
