'Cool' way for Fujian enterprises to venture into the global 'hot' market

This summer, global temperatures have continued to rise, and heatwaves have repeatedly hit many places. The demand for cooling and heat dissipation has been steadily increasing, and batches of "cooling equipment" produced in Fujian have crossed mountains and seas, quickly rushing to overseas markets.
In the modern factory of Jiangshi Xinchuang (Xiamen) Investment Co., Ltd., the production line is operating at full capacity to fulfill export orders. Workers shuttle and machines roar, batches of air conditioning components are packed and ready to be shipped to various parts of the world after being inspected and released by Xiamen Customs. Since the beginning of summer, the temperature has continued to rise, and the volume of overseas inquiries and orders has significantly increased, "said Xiu Dexin, the head of customs affairs at Jiangshi Xinchuang (Xiamen) Investment Co., Ltd." In the first half of this year, the company exported a total of 10.7065 million yuan of air conditioning components, a year-on-year increase of 72.86%, and the export momentum is thriving
Fujian is the core area of the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road, with a profound foundation in home appliance manufacturing. In recent years, Fujian's air conditioning exports have expanded from traditional seasonal trade to a stable supply chain support throughout the year. Since the beginning of the year, Fujian's air conditioning exports have continued to grow, with products covering multiple markets such as Europe, Southeast Asia, and North America. According to Xiamen Customs statistics, Fujian Province exported a total of 126500 air conditioners from January to May this year. Among them, 16700 units were exported in May, a year-on-year increase of 28.73%.
Europe is the largest growth pole of this round of 'cool economy'. From January to May, Fujian Province exported 23600 air conditioners to Europe, a year-on-year increase of 90.72%; Among them, exports to the UK, Belgium, and Serbia increased by 2.97 times, 1.64 times, and 38.75 times respectively. During the same period, Fujian Province exported 12700 air conditioners to Southeast Asia, a year-on-year increase of 66.27%; Among them, exports to the Philippines, Vietnam, and Cambodia increased by 1.64 times, 21.34%, and 5.79 times respectively year-on-year.
The seasonal nature of "cooling products" is strong and the timeliness requirements are high. In order to help enterprises seize the overseas "cooling window", Xiamen Customs has conducted a preliminary investigation of the enterprise's export order plan, dynamically tracked the changes in major export countries' access standards, technical trade barriers, and certification updates, and provided point-to-point guidance on export compliance; Promote facilitation measures such as advance declaration, appointment inspection, and local inspection in the customs clearance process, actively promote paperless declaration and intelligent document review, and further compress customs clearance time; At the same time, we will promote efficient logistics models such as the "China Europe Railway Express" and "Sea Air Intermodal Transport", guide enterprises to use overseas warehouses to stock up in advance and ship nearby, so that the coolness of "Made in Fujian" can be delivered to overseas consumers' homes faster.
