In addition to traditional housing construction and transportation infrastructure, China's foreign contracting projects have gradually upgraded and extended to energy engineering, overseas industrial parks and other tracks, evolving from single construction to full industry chain and full life cycle cooperation. The international competitiveness and brand influence of Chinese enterprises continue to strengthen.
Our company has undertaken multiple general contracting businesses for offshore oil and gas, liquefied natural gas, and offshore platform infrastructure, providing engineering related full chain services to overseas customers. We have successfully delivered projects such as Saudi Aramco offshore platform pipeline racks and Qatar offshore platform modules. Foreign contracted engineering materials and equipment have large volumes, special structures, and complex categories, which require high requirements for port lifting, logistics transportation, and customs clearance timeliness, posing challenges to port logistics and customs clearance support.
Li Na, the head of the Comprehensive Business Section 4 of the Comprehensive Business Department 2 of Huangdao Customs, a subsidiary of Qingdao Customs, introduced that the Customs has proactively coordinated the construction period and material export list of enterprise projects, implemented "one-on-one" special guidance, assisted enterprises in standardizing the declaration of export goods for foreign contracted projects, actively guided enterprises to make good use of convenient customs clearance policies such as "port of departure tax refund" and "advance declaration", and ensured efficient, convenient, and safe customs clearance of exported construction materials.
Foreign contracted projects drive the output of advantageous production capacity such as complete sets of equipment, engineering machinery, and building materials through project construction, effectively expanding the overseas market space of Chinese manufacturing enterprises and providing sustained momentum for stabilizing foreign trade scale. According to customs statistics, in the first seven months of this year, Shandong Province's contracted exports to foreign countries amounted to 5 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of over 30%.
