Lanzhou Customs - Optimizing Services from Multiple Dimensions to Help 'Gan Wei' Go Global
On July 22nd, according to Gansu Daily (New Gansu · Gansu Daily reporter Liu Cheng), on July 20th, it was learned from a press conference held by Lanzhou Customs that Lanzhou Customs continues to strengthen intellectual property customs protection, optimize and upgrade the "Gan Wei Hai" studio service system, and provide multi-dimensional assistance to our province's characteristic agricultural products and cultural and creative products in exploring international markets. As of now, a total of 30 enterprises in the province have registered 38 trademarks and 7 copyrights with the General Administration of Customs. In the first half of the year, the province's agricultural product exports reached 1.71 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 5.2%. 61 products including cottonseed oil were exported for the first time, and 16 new export destinations were added, including Chile.
In terms of intellectual property protection, Lanzhou Customs actively plays the role of intellectual property customs protection in response to the unique quality of agricultural products and distinctive regional characteristics of cultural and creative products in our province. It has compiled and printed brochures and overseas intellectual property dispute response guidance manuals, providing precise guidance for enterprises in patent application, copyright registration, brand rights protection, and overseas dispute response, focusing on filing, infringement risk response, cross-border e-commerce compliance, and international trademark registration. This year, Lanzhou Customs, together with the Provincial Intellectual Property Protection Center and the Qingyang Market Supervision Bureau, established a mechanism for coordinating exhibition intellectual property protection personnel. For the first time, the import and export intellectual property guidance services were systematically integrated into the Qingyang Xiangbao Folk Culture Festival, filling the gap in customs border protection services for large-scale folk exhibitions in Gansu and forming a new model of collaborative protection of intellectual property rights for intangible cultural heritage products "going global".
In terms of agricultural product export services, Lanzhou Customs has optimized and upgraded the "Gan Wei Hai" studio, and added a policy promotion group on the basis of the original technical and trade measures response group and foreign inspection and reception group, to build a precise enterprise friendly service system. The studio has delved into 16 key counties and conducted "menu style consultations and customized interpretations" for characteristic agricultural product export enterprises such as apples, goji berries, Chinese medicinal herbs, beef and mutton. It has collected demands and solved problems face-to-face with 435 enterprises. Focusing on the joint construction of the key markets of the "the Belt and Road", we carried out research on the docking of international standards for advantageous agricultural products such as plateau summer dishes, lilies, roses, etc., and regularly promoted the early warning information of overseas technical trade measures. Iteratively upgrade online service channels, optimize the "Lanzhou Customs Service Foreign Trade Palm Platform", launch the "Easy Enjoyment" mini program, and connect the "last mile" of enterprise services.
