A surge of 134.5%! In the first half of the year, the export value of Ningbo's "new three types" exceeded 34.9 billion yuan

The reporter learned from Ningbo Customs that in the first half of this year, the export value of Ningbo's "new three samples" products reached 34.91 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 134.5%.
Specifically, the export growth momentum of related products is strong. In the first half of the year, Ningbo exported electric vehicles, lithium-ion batteries, and photovoltaic products worth 22.18 billion yuan, 7.67 billion yuan, and 5.06 billion yuan, respectively, an increase of 209.8%, 62.8%, and 67.8% year-on-year. Ningbo Manufacturing has been widely recognized in overseas markets.
The support of the "new three types" industry is strong. In the first half of the year, private enterprises supported the export of "new three types" products, with an export value of 33.37 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 135.2%, accounting for 95.6% of the export value of "new three types" products in Ningbo during the same period.
Geely Automobile and other enterprises are the main force in exports.
In the first half of this year, batches of Geely Galaxy new energy vehicles were ready for shipment at Zhoushan Port in Ningbo and sold overseas. According to statistics, the export volume of Geely's new energy vehicles reached 277000 units in the first half of the year, a year-on-year increase of 5.9 times.
At present, we actively participate in global standard setting, moving from product output to comprehensive output of technology, standards, and ecology. The relevant person in charge of Geely stated that the company has established more than 10 styling design and engineering research and development centers worldwide, achieving the coordinated development of products, technology, standards, and industrial chains.
The market layout of the "new three types" is becoming increasingly diversified. The European Union, Latin America, and ASEAN are the main export markets, with Ningbo exporting 8.74 billion yuan, 5.92 billion yuan, and 5.38 billion yuan respectively, an increase of 82.5%, 503%, and 121.3% year-on-year, and blooming in multiple emerging markets.
In the production workshop of Shuangyili (Ningbo) Battery Co., Ltd., one iCon series industrial and commercial energy storage liquid cooled integrated machines are being packed intensively and will soon be sent to overseas markets such as Europe. In the first half of this year, Shuangyi Power exported lithium battery products worth 450 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 2.3 times, and the export scale continued to expand.
With our technological advantages and global certifications, we have multiple hundred megawatt level projects in the United States and are accelerating our expansion into emerging markets such as the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Africa. Vice General Manager Zhou Bin stated that the company will continue to optimize energy storage system products that meet the needs of overseas markets and expand the export scale of "Ningbo Intelligent Manufacturing" energy storage products.
