Germany is Fujian's largest trading partner in import and export trade with the European Union, with exports of 43.9 billion yuan and imports of 5.73 billion yuan in the first half of the year, accounting for 37% of the province's total import and export value to the European Union during the same period. In terms of growth rate, Fujian's imports and exports to Luxembourg, Malta, and Lithuania have significantly increased, with growth rates of 261.4%, 216.1%, and 150.4%, respectively.

Private enterprises are the main force in expanding the EU market. In the first half of the year, private enterprises in Fujian imported and exported 94.46 billion yuan to the European Union, a year-on-year increase of 5.4%, accounting for over 70%.

Mechanical and electrical products are an important engine for Fujian's trade with the European Union. In the first half of the year, Fujian exported mechanical and electrical products to the European Union worth 73.08 billion yuan, an increase of 10.3%, accounting for 64.9% of the province's total export value to the European Union during the same period. Among them, the export of electrical control devices was 1.71 billion yuan, an increase of 64.1%; The export of general machinery and equipment reached 1.45 billion yuan, an increase of 14.5%. In addition, the construction of global AI infrastructure is accelerating, and Fujian's export of storage spare parts to the European Union is growing at an impressive rate of 20.6 times.

In terms of imports, Fujian has significantly increased its imports of electromechanical products and metal ore from the European Union. In the first half of the year, Fujian imported 11.47 billion yuan worth of mechanical and electrical products from the European Union, an increase of 34.8%. Among them, imported electronic components amounted to 1.26 billion yuan, an increase of 240.9%. Meanwhile, Fujian imported aircraft components from the European Union worth 2.09 billion yuan, an increase of 52.2%. In addition, Fujian imported 1.19 billion yuan of metal ore from the European Union, an increase of 103.1%.
