Recently, 1100 tons of tuna caught by Shenzhen Hemei Fisheries Co., Ltd. in the Atlantic Ocean were successfully transported to Yantian Port. Under the supervision of Dapeng Customs officers under Shenzhen Customs, this batch of fish has quickly completed customs clearance procedures and will then be transported to factories for initial processing before being released into the consumer market. 
Shenzhen is the fourth national level offshore fishing base approved in China, and is currently accelerating the construction of an industrial demonstration zone that integrates cold chain warehousing, deep processing, trading and auction, and the integration of fishing and tourism. As an important international trade hub in southern China, Yantian Port, with its dense international shipping network and efficient port operation capabilities, has gradually built a "sea fresh product express line" from deep in the ocean to the Chinese dining table, injecting new energy into the high-quality development of China's offshore fishing industry. 
"The fish we caught this time include tuna, bluefin fish, and Spanish mackerel, among which 90% are ultra-low temperature tuna." Xie Chenglan, a staff member of Shenzhen USUNHOME Fisheries Co., Ltd., said, "The physiological structure of tuna is special, and it must be stored at ultra-low temperature immediately after landing to ensure the delicious meat quality and tight taste of tuna." The strict storage and transportation requirements of nearly -60 ℃ have brought high transportation costs to enterprises while ensuring the quality. 
In order to ensure the rapid listing of this batch of "marine fresh goods", Dapeng Customs has conducted policy Q&A around compliance declaration, inspection and quarantine, certificate issuance and clearance, tax reduction and exemption, and other links, guiding enterprises to use the "early declaration" mode, and innovatively implementing the "edge by edge verification, direct unloading and inspection, and immediate reporting and inspection" mode, realizing the full chain supervision of "declaration inspection removal" and speeding up, ensuring the "excellent freshness" of tuna clearance. 
In response to the special storage and transportation requirements for frozen tuna, we have coordinated with the port in advance. Frozen products that do not require inspection can be quickly lifted by hanging containers, and it only takes 3 hours from unloading to lifting. For fish products that require inspection, an inspection plan has been developed in advance, and container unloading and sensory inspection of the goods have been standardized in a cold chain constant temperature inspection environment. The entire inspection process is controlled within 1 hour to ensure the freshness and quality of the tuna to the greatest extent possible, "said Liu Hao, Deputy Director of the Inspection Department of Dapeng Customs. 
This is the first time our company has declared the import of frozen tuna through Dapeng Customs. Due to the fact that tuna requires full cold chain transportation at -60 ℃, the time is very tight. At first, we were somewhat worried about the efficiency of customs clearance under such strict conditions. However, we did not expect that with the efficient guarantee of Dapeng Customs, the goods could be quickly inspected and released, and the speed and effect far exceeded our expectations.
