World Cup assists in exporting domestic sports equipment
The hot start of the 2026 World Cup has driven a comprehensive increase in global sports consumption, coupled with a surge in demand for outdoor fitness and leisure sports in summer, ushering in a peak sales season for the international sports goods market. At the Manzhouli highway port, trucks loaded with sports equipment such as soccer balls are accelerating towards overseas markets. According to statistics from Manzhouli Customs, the trade value of sports goods and equipment exported through Manzhouli Port from January to May this year reached 340 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 79.9%.
Manzhouli Customs has continuously optimized the supervision process and implemented convenient measures such as "advance declaration" and "appointment inspection" to address the urgent orders and high time requirements for sports goods during the World Cup. It has established a "sports goods fast track" and deepened the application of large-scale supervision equipment such as H986 and RTG6000 to accelerate the inspection of football, sportswear and other goods, reduce logistics and time costs for enterprises, and help sports goods efficiently reach overseas shelves.
At the same time, with the arrival of summer, camping, cycling, and water sports have become increasingly popular, leading to a surge in demand for large outdoor equipment such as tents, inflatable boats, and mountain bikes. Manzhouli Customs seized the market opportunity and actively carried out precise preferential services for enterprises, interpreting the market access standards, tariff policies, and intellectual property regulations of export destinations, guiding enterprises to declare in a standardized manner, and ensuring the smooth export of various sports goods and equipment.
Manzhouli Customs will continue to optimize the level of cross-border trade facilitation, promote more high-quality Chinese sports goods to break through the barriers and go global, injecting strong momentum into the development of the global sports industry and outdoor economy. (Xu Xinxin/Text)
