The 12th Guangdong International Aquaculture Expo was held in Zhanjiang from June 18th to 20th. Since the beginning of this year, the export momentum of aquatic products in Zhanjiang has been positive and increasing. According to statistics, from January to May, Zhanjiang exported 60000 tons of aquatic products, a year-on-year increase of 50.9%.

Based on the advantages of Zhanjiang's marine industry, Xiahai Customs actively guides the transformation and upgrading of aquatic products to deep-sea net cages. Currently, 16 deep-sea net cage aquaculture farms have obtained export registration qualifications, and there are 31 large-scale aquaculture farms with an area of over 1000 acres in its jurisdiction. Economic aquatic products such as grouper, cobra, and basket fish are all "swimming out to sea".

In response to the high demand for timeliness of chilled aquatic products, Xiahai Customs has opened a green channel, with "7 × 24 hours" standby, and taken convenient measures such as "cloud issuance" of export inspection and quarantine certificates, continuously reducing the duration of local inspection operations, and maximizing the freshness of exported aquatic products. "At present, it is hot and hot, and the pressure of fresh-keeping is enormous. The green channel opened by the customs is really awesome, and we can complete the inspection application and certificate issuance on the same day. We started packing and loading in the afternoon, and shipped out of the country overnight. In order to continuously optimize the business environment and assist enterprises in grabbing overseas orders, Xiahai Customs has established the "Zhanjiang Agricultural Products Overseas Service Center" in conjunction with the Zhanjiang Agriculture and Rural Bureau.
