Shanxi strawberry exports to Mongolia for the first time
Recently, under the supervision and release of Jinyang Customs under Taiyuan Customs, a batch of fresh strawberries produced in Gujiao, Taiyuan were transported to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. This is the first time Shanxi strawberries have been exported to Mongolia and also the first time Taiyuan fruits have been exported.
Taiyuan Customs has listed the export of strawberries as a key assistance project, guiding Jinyang Customs to establish a special working group, conduct on-site visits to strawberry planting bases, combine the characteristics of strawberry products and the market access requirements of Mongolia, promote precise services of "one product, one policy, one enterprise, one policy", guide enterprises to build a full process quality and safety control system, strengthen field pest control and source safety management, improve product quality traceability chain, assist enterprises in improving internal control system, efficiently handle export procedures, and clear obstacles for the smooth export of agricultural products.
Jinyang Customs is closely monitoring the quality and safety of fresh agricultural products exported, focusing on key indicators such as pesticide residues and heavy metals, and conducting strict inspection and testing. Relying on the professional technical advantages of customs, accurately comparing with the import quarantine requirements of Mongolia, continuously tracking the dynamics of local trade policies and quarantine standards, guiding enterprises to standardize packaging labeling and optimize traceability management, promoting the transformation of enterprise products from "standard export" to "high-quality overseas", and polishing the "Jin brand" business card with excellent quality.
In addition, in response to the characteristics of short shelf life, easy wear and tear, and high customs clearance requirements of strawberries, Jinyang Customs has launched multiple facilitation measures, implemented the "priority inspection" and "7 × 24-hour" appointment inspection modes, promoted digital services such as "cloud issuance" of inspection and quarantine certificates, intelligent review, and self-service printing, and significantly reduced the time limit for document processing.
Assisting in the development of international markets for characteristic agricultural products is a powerful lever for us to serve the comprehensive revitalization of rural areas and promote high-quality agricultural development. In the next step, Jinyang Customs will further strengthen supervision and targeted assistance, consolidate the foundation of industry going global, adhere to the bottom line of quality and safety, smooth the clearance channels for fresh and live products, and promote more characteristic agricultural products to explore international markets, "said Hao Xinmin, the director of Jinyang Customs.
