Smooth the export of heavy equipment produced in Henan Province to Saudi Arabia through the Jingtang Port Customs escort of the central and western export arteries
On July 2nd, two bridge cranes and one semi gantry crane were shipped to Saudi Arabia aboard the "New Haitong 33" cargo ship. This batch of "Made in Henan" heavy equipment with a total weight of 606.46 tons and a cargo value of 8.928 million yuan has successfully set sail in the Jingtang Port area of Tangshan Port, marking the further connection of a new artery for the central and western regions to go abroad.
It is understood that large mechanical equipment generally has the characteristics of large size, heavy weight, and irregular structure, which makes it difficult to be transported multiple times in the port. In order to solve the logistics bottleneck of exporting large inland equipment, the Jingtang Port Customs under Shijiazhuang Customs continues to assist in the construction of the port's comprehensive hub, vigorously promoting the "direct loading upon arrival" model. Export goods can be directly transported to the port and loaded onto ships for export after customs clearance, truly bringing the "seaport" to the doorstep of inland cities.
Compared to the traditional port consolidation model, this model significantly simplifies the operation chain and reduces customs clearance time, providing a better port consolidation solution for inland heavy machinery exports. Li Yuxi, the person in charge of Henan Weihua Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd., said, "Thanks to the customs' 'direct loading upon arrival' model, this export saved more than 400000 yuan in lifting and transportation costs, effectively reducing the pressure on capital turnover
In addition, the customs have proactively linked with ports and shipping companies, innovatively adopting "synchronous supervision" and "embedded supervision" methods, integrating supervision into ship berthing, cargo loading and other links, and minimizing the impact of customs clearance operations on cargo flow. At the same time, utilizing information technology such as video surveillance and intelligent inspection, combined with convenient measures such as "appointment inspection" and "cloud issuance", to achieve "immediate arrival, inspection, and release" of goods.
