Recently, under the supervision of customs officers from Dadong Port under Dalian Customs, a batch of frozen boiled mixed color clam meat weighing about 20 tons was cleared and released, and then exported through Dalian Dayaowan Port.
Dandong Donggang variegated clams have gradually gained popularity among overseas consumers due to their delicious flavor and excellent quality. Currently, they have been exported to more than 60 countries and regions worldwide.
Previously, we were not familiar with the policies of the RCEP agreement and had only a partial understanding of the application of rules of origin, which resulted in our production costs remaining high for a long time. After understanding our situation, the customs immediately assigned a specialist to come and explain the RCEP agreement policies and export declaration points to us; At the same time, using the 'China Customs Preferential Origin Service Platform', we will conduct big data analysis and tailor export plans for us based on the analysis results. ”Xing Lianhong, the person in charge of Dandong Taihong Food Co., Ltd., said.
To help enterprises fully enjoy the policy dividends, Dadonggang Customs has established a list of "entitled but not entitled" enterprises, conducted in-depth lectures on preferential policies for enterprises based on rules of origin, understood the development needs of enterprises, and accurately guided enterprises to make good use of RCEP rules of origin and tariff reduction clauses; At the same time, we will promote the full process online processing of "intelligent verification+self-service printing" for export certificates of origin, reducing the average processing time to 2 minutes.
According to statistics, from January to May this year, Dadong Port Customs issued a total of 1060 RCEP certificates of origin, a year-on-year increase of 8.72%; The value of goods exported from RCEP countries reached 396 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 7%.
