The Dragon Boat Festival is approaching, and the Silk Road carries fragrance. On June 10th, after on-site inspection by Pingliang Customs under Lanzhou Customs, a batch of "Liu Lanfang Fragrant Bags" with a value of about 2000 US dollars produced by a company in Qingyang was shipped to Uzbekistan. Qingyang sachets were exported for the first time, adding a name card of Longyuan culture to the people to people and cultural exchanges of countries jointly building the "the Belt and Road".

Qingyang sachet is one of the first national intangible cultural heritages. The patterns of tiger head, five poisons, lotus flower, gourd, etc. all embody traditional Chinese aesthetics with every stitch and thread. During the Dragon Boat Festival, local people have the custom of wearing sachets, exorcising evil spirits, and praying for blessings. Fragrant sachet embroidery is delicate, simple in shape, and fragrant, embodying people's beautiful wishes for health and auspiciousness.

Brand protection is a key aspect of intangible cultural heritage products going global. Pingliang Customs took the initiative to conduct a survey of intangible cultural heritage export enterprises, providing "one-on-one" services for sachet production enterprises, helping the "Liu Lanfang sachet" trademark to pass the intellectual property customs protection filing, becoming the first folk craft product trademark in Gansu Province to obtain intellectual property customs protection, and providing brand guarantee for sachet exports. Since the beginning of this year, Lanzhou Customs, in conjunction with the Provincial Intellectual Property Protection Center and local market supervision departments, has launched a collaborative action to protect the intellectual property rights of characteristic industries for intangible cultural heritage enterprises such as sachets. They have provided precise answers and promoted policy implementation around export conditions, overseas protection of intellectual property rights, and other issues.

In order to assist enterprises in their first export, Pingliang Customs has collected and interpreted the admission regulations and quality standards for Uzbekistan's textile craft products. In response to the needs of enterprises for applying for certificates of origin, they have promoted the convenient mode of "intelligent review+self-service printing" for certificates of origin, reducing the time required for certificate processing. In response to issues such as first-time exports and lack of practical experience, Pingliang Customs went to the site to verify product information and documentation, providing one-on-one guidance for enterprises to fill out declaration materials in a standardized manner. Customs not only helped us achieve our first export, but also gave us the confidence to explore the international market in the long term, "said Zhang Yuchen, manager of Qingyang Qihuang Cultural Communication Co., Ltd.

Lanzhou Customs will continue to tap the foreign trade potential of the cultural industry, help more intangible cultural relics of Gansu go abroad, and promote the two-way exchanges of people to people and trade of the "the Belt and Road". (Liu Guanhua/text)
