Summer is approaching, and beer is entering its golden export season. This batch of 14.1-ton Corona beer, after being packaged, will be sent to Djibouti in northeastern Africa. This is the first time Putian beer has been exported to Djibouti.

The African market has a large population base and considerable consumption potential, and the demand for high-quality beer has been increasing in recent years. With the support of customs, we have successfully opened up the Djibouti market and taken another step forward in expanding the African market, "said Chen Jinbo, Quality Control Director of Budweiser Shenjin Beer Co., Ltd.

Putian is located on the southeast coast, with a warm climate and excellent water quality, providing unique natural conditions for brewing. At present, Putian has formed a beer industry cluster with Budweiser and Xuejin as the core, gathering more than 30 supporting enterprises in malt, packaging, logistics, etc., with an annual production capacity of 2 million tons, becoming one of the important beer production bases in China. In 2025, Putian will be awarded the title of "World Famous Wine Production Area and Chinese Beer Manufacturing City" for its strong beer manufacturing capabilities.

In order to promote Putian beer to the world, Putian Customs, a subsidiary of Fuzhou Customs, closely follows the characteristics of industrial development and the needs of enterprises, carries out "one-on-one" on-site services, dynamically understands the planning of enterprises to expand overseas markets, and targetedly pushes the latest requirements of food laws, regulations, standards, and epidemic inspection in major markets. At the same time, guide enterprises to improve the entire chain quality management system from raw material procurement, production and processing to warehousing and transportation, and conduct spot checks on key indicators such as food additives and heavy metal residues in alcoholic beverages to ensure the quality and safety of exported products. In addition, the customs also vigorously promotes the application of local inspection system and "cloud issuance" mode, combined with convenient measures such as "advance declaration" and "appointment inspection", greatly reducing the clearance time and helping more Putian beer to enter the international market.
