The export of electric vehicles in Fujian Province accelerated in the first four months of this year
Against the backdrop of global pursuit of carbon neutrality and severe fluctuations in international oil prices, electric vehicles are becoming a hot commodity in the automotive industry for their "clean and green" and "fuel-efficient" features. Relying on the logistics advantages of the "golden channel" for vehicle exports such as Fuzhou Port and Jiangyin Port Area, and the anchor effect of Ningde Times batteries, the export of electric vehicles in Fujian Province has accelerated. According to statistics from Fuzhou Customs, in the first four months of this year, the export of electric vehicles in Fujian Province was 2.72 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 13.1%, accounting for 44.9% of the total export value of automobiles in the province during the same period.
Private enterprises are the main force in the export of electric vehicles in Fujian Province, with exports of 2.46 billion yuan in the first four months, an increase of 44.4%, accounting for 90.5% of the total export value of electric vehicles in Fujian Province during the same period.
With the support of new energy policies in various countries, electric vehicles in Fujian Province have entered 93 markets across five continents, showing diversified characteristics. Israel, Norway, and Saudi Arabia have shown strong growth, with Fujian Province exporting electric vehicles worth 250 million yuan, 240 million yuan, and 110 million yuan respectively in the first four months, an increase of 18.7 times, 6.8 times, and 216.2 times, accounting for a total of 22% of Fujian Province's total electric vehicle exports during the same period.
In addition, with the continuous promotion of brand building, domestic brand electric vehicles have become a major highlight of exports. In the first four months, exports reached 2.15 billion yuan, an increase of 44.7%, accounting for 78.9% of the total export value of electric vehicles in Fujian Province during the same period, driving a 27.6 percentage point increase in Fujian Province's electric vehicle exports during the same period.
In order to support electric vehicles going abroad, Fuzhou Customs deepens the application of the "Smart Customs" construction and the "Smart Customs Strong Country" action, supports the development of Fuzhou Jiangyin Port into a "golden channel" for the export of complete vehicles along the southeast coast, promotes the application of the "stop and go" mode of sea rail intermodal transportation, strengthens the interpretation of customs supervision policies through mechanisms such as enterprise coordinators and problem clearing, helps enterprises familiarize themselves with export clearance processes, and assists Fujian made electric vehicles in accelerating their global expansion.
