Shanxi Dahuang Rice's First Export
Recently, after inspection and quarantine by Shuozhou Customs under Taiyuan Customs, 10 tons of high-quality yellow rice produced by Shanxi Sairui Grain Co., Ltd. were successfully shipped to overseas markets. This is the first time that Shanxi Province's yellow rice has gone abroad.
Shuozhou is located on the Loess Plateau in northern Shanxi, with a large temperature difference between day and night and rich mineral content in the soil. It is precisely this unique natural endowment that gives Shuozhou miscellaneous grains the core quality competitiveness to enter the international market. Faced with industry challenges such as inconsistent import standards, strict testing, and multiple trade barriers for agricultural products in various countries, Shuozhou Customs accurately meets the needs of enterprises, proactively provides advanced services, and tailors full process assistance plans for enterprises to help them solve the export problems of local characteristic agricultural products.
Jia Haiyin, the person in charge of Shanxi Sairui Grain Co., Ltd., said, "Previously, we only dealt with the domestic market and had no experience in import and export business. Whether it was production standard adaptation, product testing, inspection and customs declaration, or process declaration, we knew nothing. Now, the customs have come to guide us throughout the process, helping us avoid many unknown foreign trade risks
The first export of Shuozhou Dahuang rice this time is an important breakthrough for Shanxi's local characteristic agricultural products to explore the international market. The transformation of Shanxi's characteristic coarse grains from local specialties to international commodities marks a new track for Shanxi's coarse grain industry to open up overseas markets. At the same time, it is also a vivid practice for customs to optimize the business environment and promote stable scale and optimal structure of foreign trade.
In response to the situation of enterprises exporting yellow rice for the first time, we actively provide services, guide enterprises to standardize production and processing processes, strictly carry out pesticide and heavy metal residue testing of raw materials and finished products, and ensure that exported products meet the quality requirements of the importing country, "said Yang Hao, head of the Inspection Department of Shuozhou Customs." We also provide exclusive services to help enterprises avoid trade risks and fully guarantee the smooth export of yellow rice according to the technical access requirements of the importing country
