Yingkou piano industry plays a new chapter of development
Recently, in the tuning workshop of Anqi Musical Instruments (Liaoning) Co., Ltd. in Yingkou Comprehensive Bonded Zone, workers are conducting final tuning and testing on a batch of repaired pianos. After passing the inspection by the customs officers of the operating port, these pianos have "broken through the cocoon and become butterflies" and will soon be sold overseas.
In recent years, with the changing international market landscape, the traditional piano manufacturing industry has faced transformation challenges. Yingkou City has taken the international second-hand piano bonded logistics business as a breakthrough point to embark on the path of transformation and development of the piano manufacturing industry.
The so-called "piano bonded logistics business" refers to the business model in which domestic enterprises transport second-hand foreign pianos into the comprehensive bonded zone through bonded import, and professional technicians perform tuning, appearance decoration, and then transport them out of the country for sale. By 2025, Yingkou Customs will supervise over 5000 second-hand pianos in bonded logistics, with a value exceeding 150 million yuan. Its business scope has expanded to multiple countries and regions such as ASEAN and the Middle East.
In order to promote the transformation and upgrading of the piano industry in Yingkou City, Yingkou Customs has innovatively launched a new model of "intelligent supervision of self transportation of bonded goods enterprises". When enterprises use their own vehicles to transport bonded goods between the comprehensive bonded zone and ports, the Customs uses intelligent means such as electronic locks, GPS positioning, and mobile video monitoring to achieve real-time monitoring of the entire transportation process. At the same time, in response to the characteristics of large volume of pianos, large import quantities in a single batch, and high demand for transportation vehicles, the traditional "one ticket, one vehicle" model has been upgraded to a "one ticket, multiple vehicles" supervision model, achieving "one declaration, batch entry", reducing the average customs clearance time of a single batch of goods by more than 30% and logistics costs by nearly 20%.
Chen Weidong, Deputy Director of Yingkou Customs, stated that Yingkou Customs will promote enterprises in the comprehensive bonded zone to carry out bonded maintenance business, allowing maintenance products to be used for production and processing within the zone for direct export. Based on the summary and evaluation, it will gradually allow imported bonded maintenance products to be sold domestically. At the same time, we will improve the efficiency of intelligent supervision, strengthen the application of technologies such as artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things in customs supervision, build a customs intelligent supervision system that is compatible with the production and operation of enterprises in the area, and further reduce the institutional transaction costs of enterprises.
According to statistics, in the first quarter of this year, Yingkou Customs has supervised 3200 second-hand pianos in bonded logistics, with a value of 38.748 million yuan, an increase of 12.9% and 33.5% year-on-year, respectively. (Sun Futao, Lu Chuanxiao/Text)
